Our Mission

Being Disciples, Loving God and Neighbour, Building a Community of Faith

Being disciples means embracing service as exemplified by Jesus, when he washed his disciples' feet. True greatness through humble service. At the heart of discipleship is the love of God which naturally flows into love for others. Additionally, being a disciple involves witnessing Jesus' saving message, empowered by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the good news in living our faith. At Sacred Heart Church, we strive to build a vibrant community of living faith, following Jesus with devotion and spreading His light to the world.

The Welcome Café

The Welcome Café, held in the meeting room at the Father’s House, is a special monthly gathering where minds meet, stories unfold, and connections bloom. Every second Friday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Each month, we feature engaging guest speakers who share their unique experiences and insights, offering fresh perspectives that spark curiosity and deepen our understanding of the world around us.

Discover the beauty of Lectio Divina in our monthly gathering, where we reflect on a text from the upcoming Sunday liturgy. Through gentle contemplation of scripture, we create a peaceful space to deepen our connection to God’s Word and share our insights in community.

Study Groups

Here we delve deeply into the study of a particular book. Past studies have explored the Bible, papal encyclicals, intriguing novels, and pressing issues such as human trafficking and the prison system. Everyone is welcome to join us for these enlightening sessions.
Coffee Mornings

Join us every Sunday after the 10 AM Mass for our friendly and welcoming Coffee Mornings. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parishioners, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and engage in meaningful conversations.
Adoration

We invite you to experience the grace and tranquillity of Adoration every Wednesday in the chapel of the Father’s House. The Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, offering a peaceful time for prayer and reflection. Benediction is held at 12:15 PM. All are welcome to join in this sacred time of devotion.
