The Feast of Saints Peter and Paul is a solemnity in the Catholic calendar that honors these two great apostles and foundational figures of the Church.
Saint Peter, the first Pope, is recognised for his role as the rock upon which Christ built His Church. He symbolises faith, leadership, and the unity of the Church. Saint Paul, known as the Apostle to the Gentiles, is celebrated for his missionary zeal and contributions to spreading the Gospel far beyond Jewish communities.
